Failed to connect to an IPC Port: The System cannot find the specified path
Most of the reports are failing with the following error as " Failed to connect to an IPC Port: The System cannot find the specified path" We are using SSRS 2008 with HP OEM Print drivers. We tried using the inbox printer driver that does not help. Anybody has any idea as what could be a root cause of this, Any help will be highly appriciated. Thanks Dheeraj Raodheeraj

Hi Dheeraj, From your description, do you mean that you encountered this issue when you try to print a report? If I have something misunderstood, please point out and describe this issue with more detail. Generally, we can use RSClientPrint to perform client-side printing for reports viewed in a browser.  Hi Bill, Thanks for you quick response and help. I did follow the link provided by you, however they do not fit in my senerio. I think it not reporting issue, but more of printing. Reports are completed renderning in SSRS, but it seems delivery of the reports is an issue. There are several reports failing with IPC error. Our SQL Reporting service is hosted on IIS/HTTP/SSRS server and it is pointing to our Seprate Master active DB. The first thing I am trying to understand as what is this IPC port Error and its origin. If you have any idea or where I can find this information will be a great help, I am researching on this and will keep you posted. Thanks Dheeraj dheeraj
