Hi,

I cannot get the User Profile Synchronization Service to start.

In the logs I found this entry:

Failed to configure ILM, will attempt during next rerun. Exception: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The event log file is full 

I have tried provisioning a new service, the error is the same.

what did you do to address the ISSUE, which it clearly states as "THE EVENT LOG FILE IS FULL" ?

Hi Luis,

Have you tried backing-up and deleting the event log file (and ULS log) as error mentioned?

Also please check below PowerShell code to re-provision user profile sync db, let us know your results.
