Hi all, I´m working on a lab environment to create an scenario for provision users into 2 Domain Forest and enable mailbox and lync account. My question: is a best practice use the FIM Portal to create user information?? Can I use another interface?? I send this question because I don´t know how friendly is to change de FIM portal UI and attributes that you can use on. Thanks very much in advance

Hi Paco - is a best practice use the FIM Portal to create user information?? You can choose whether you want to use the FIM Portal/Service as the authoritative data source, or you can use another data source, such as a HR system or HR dump file. Can I use another interface?? You can use any UI that can talk to the FIM Web Services interface. However, the FIM Portal UI is very easy to customise, and comes with an extensible schema.
