FIM Portal: ignores upper/lower case changes?
Is it possible that the FIM Portal as a datasource ignores the following attribute flow: old value: thomas, new value: Thomas
I'm having some pingpong effect between my AD, HR and FIM portal as in the HR source we changed the casing of a lot of users. But these changes don't make it to the portal.
I will now append something temporary to those attributes, and then undo that. But aren't there any "nicer" methods to do this?http://setspn.blogspot.com

Hi Thomas,
The case sensitivity issue is known and it can be frustrating. Generally what I've had to do in these instances where there were simple case sensitivity problems was change the data to something that was incorrect and then back to the correct data (with
proper case).
Sorry.

I was seeing the same issue "exported not changed...", but it was importing acountName into FIM Service, and since users are already logging in, changing this either has to be done very quickly, or via some other method. I was going to manually change
accountname in the portal, import and sync that and make FIM change it back. Luckily there are only 20 or so to fix..
Any better ways to do this are welcome.
