Does the Password and Authentication Extensions have to be installed on every client to allow the Register for password reset to work? When the user goes to http://fimserver/IndentityManagement web site, clicks on the Register for password reset, they get the error Registration is not possible at this time. I deliberately did not install this on one PC, installed the FIM Extensions on my other test PC, all works fine and the test user is able to register and change their password. We have a large Citrix envirnonment, and did not really want to have to install the FIM Password and Authentication Extensions on all servers. Is the only way for users to register for a password reset to install the Extensions? Thanks

the addin and extension is reqired for SSPR to work. we are aware of a client-less solution is the #1 ask for SSPR. the feature team has been seriously investigating into this issue. however, at this time, we can't disclose any more information than that.

Thanks for the update, having to install the client on all Citrix servers and clients, is a tricky.

Has there been any more news on a client-less solution where users can use the Portal only for SSPR and client side extensions are not necessary.
