FIM Password Reset Error
I was setting up a password reset Authn Workflow and tried to run it - and I get this error-
"A service proxy exception was encountered while running the Password Reset application, Error Text: ReadFile failed. Error Code 233"
Anyone seen this? - I have folloowed the documentation ( what parts make sence ;) )

Are you doing it through IE or without IE?
If IE, what version of IE? What OS, architecture?

is the sites in INTRANET zone? please reest the zone to default IE security settings
protected mode OFF?

That looks similar to an error I was getting. My fix came after I verified the settings on my PC were correct in the registry.
hklm\software\microsoft\Forefront Identity Manager\2010\Ad-ins
I had the wrong value for MonitoredAccountName and PortalURL
