Hello, I haven't made this work (yet) but I have a request from my users to do this. They are looking at V7 of the directory but I might be able to push back to V6 if needed. Have you made any progress on your work or has anyone else gotten this to work? Thanks.

Armand, I found the following article which has a possible solution to your question that came about from the previous version of FIM. It involves adding a registry value to get the connector to allow the connection to a different version of the Sun Directory server. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=842531. I have been able to get it to work in a lab environment against a Sun V7.0 server, but have not performed full integration testing with all of the MA's features. The registry key location has changed as well from the original article, but I thought you may be interested in this. You can get the string for the registry by using LDP and connecting to the server. It should be in the connection return.
