FIM Installation
When trying to install FIM with all prereq's installed on a x64 2008R2 box, I have an error message that comes up saying Sharepoint is not installed. I installed the 2010 version of Sharepoint including the SDK. Is this common?

Hi there Drew MOSS is currently not supported by FIM , you should use Windows sharepoint services. Requirements for FIM 2010: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff512684(WS.10).aspx Info about MOSS: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/darrylru/archive/2009/10/06/fim-2010-performance-testing-topology.aspx You can download WSS from this link. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=79bada82-c13f-44c1-bdc1-d0447337051b&displaylang=en regards

Thanks Kichitan! The information is good. The download link I needed was slightly different but in the right direction nonetheless. Again, Thanks! -Drew
