FIM Client OS Support
Will the RTM support any additional Operating Systemsfor the FIM Client components, specifically the ILM Password Reset Extensions? Also has anyone tried the password reset extensions on Windows Server 2003 (32 bit)? The reason for this is we have some locations that have only wyse thin terminals, so the only access is via citrix servers which run Windows Server 2003 x32, and we would like those users to be able to use self-service password reset (although obviously another user would have to logon to citrix for them)FYI, I can confirm the extensions work on Windows Server 2008 Standard x64 SP1 (Although not formally supported)

Long long time ago, i tried it once and it would work. Since then there are so many changes that i wouldn't comment on that. Again, it is not supported btw, i am not too familiar with cirtix, but i want to point out that the clients works fine on remote desktop session. what you can do is to setup a machine where everyone can TS to (not necessary logon to the machine. as long as u can see the logon screen). I am not sure what's the support statement around that though.

Thanks AnthonyThe way we have it set up the user sees a citrix login prompt, not the MS one, socan't see the reset button/link.Citrix does the windowslogin for them in the background. It may be possible to reconfigure this so that the regular windows login is displayed.I tried 2003 x32 last night and it still works. Still would love to know if this (And Server 2008) will be formally supported in RTM...

If the user has previously registered for the pwd reset, one can init the request from IE (http://servername/PasswordPortal) The request must be initiated from a machine joined to the domain. you can try have a citrix guest account for the user to login a domain joined machine (logon as local machine user is fine) and reset pwd from there
