FIM Certificate Management Configuration Wizard Fails
HelloWhen I run the configuration wizard fr FIM CM at the end when I click configure I am getting the following error. Name Translation: Could not find the name or insuffcient right to see the name. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80072116). Any ideas would be great. I have a root domain and a child domain. FIM is installed in the Child Domain along with the Enterprise CA. I am using an Enterprise Admin Account to perform the install and config.

When you ran the Configuration wizard, did you go to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager\2010\Certificate Management\Bin folder, right-click the Microsoft.clm.config.exe file and Run as Administrator?Brian

What is the operating system you are trying to install FIM CM on ? It does work currently on Windows 2008 R2

That shoud say doesn't currently work on Windows 2008 R2

Actually, it does work on R2. You just have to manually enroll the agent certificatesBrian

You log in with each account (clmagent/clmkragent/clmenrollagent)You launch certmgr.mscYou request the certificate for eachYou record the thumbprint for the issued certificate (clmagent/clmenrollagent)You past the thumbprints into the web.config file (removing all spaces in the thumbprint) - look for the words hash/hashesOne is for the enrollment agent, the rest are for the clmagentBrian
