HI, Trying to simply install FIM 2010 CM. I have extended the Schema and installed the binaries for FIM 2010 CM. I use a FIMCMAdmin account which is part of Enterprise Admins, Domain Admins and local Admins (on the FIM CM server). FIM CM is installed on Win 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise Edition - including all the pre-reqs like IIS, .Net Framework, etc. The OS is running as a virtual machine inside vmware. FIM CM is part of the domain, and I can connect to both the domain controller, CA server and SQL via: ping, UNC, LDAP lookup, Telnet. Whenever we try to run the FIM CM Configuration Wizard, it starts, shows the Welcome page, and then it hangs. We have removed FIM CM, and reinstalled it a few times - but the wizard still hangs. We even reinstalled the entore operating system from scratch, reinstalled FIM CM, but the Wizard still hangs. being an Enterprise license customer, we obtained a new copy of FIM CM from the MS download site - installed it, but the wizard still hangs. Internet searches contain absolutely no information to this Event Log we have found. Has anyone experienced this issue? Here is the event (and there isnt any more info in Action Center): The program Microsoft.Clm.Config.exe version 4.0.2592.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel. Process ID: 534 Start Time: 01cc414e5cf95355 Termination Time: 15 Application Path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager\2010\Certificate Management\Bin\Microsoft.Clm.Config.exe Report Id: Source: Application Hang Event ID:1002 Very bizarre, as I have done this countless times before. Yeah, very bizarre S.K. I must have run the CW 200 times & have never seen an issue! And you haven't even asked it to do anything at that point! I know that you haven't run the CW yet, but out of interest can you get to the FIM CM portal? Also, can you verify the permissions on the FIM CM installation folders & registry.
