FIM 2010 extension-dll-exception
Hi , Anyone can help explain due to what reason or possibilities that FIM 2010 make the objects as disconnectors ? OU folder location , email prefix are correct . I'm using FIM 2010 : version 4.02592.0. The error is : Error : Extension-dll-exception syncrhonisation step: connector filter (import) extension name: GALsync.dll Extension rule : disconnector-filter Microsoft.MetadirectoryServices.AttributeNotInInclusionListException: Attribute "msExchRecipientTypeDetails" is not a member of the attribute inclusion list. at Microsoft.MetadirectoryServices.Impl.EntryState.GetAttribute(String attributeName, IMacroCollectionBase collection) at Microsoft.MetadirectoryServices.GALSync.MASynchronizer.FilterUserObjects(CSEntry csentry)

Cskhor: In this blog post you can see a screenshot of how the connector filter is defined by default for the GalSync MA for FIM 2010 RTM Update 1. This should give you an idea of when user objects are filtered out and become filtered disconnectors. In your case you are experiencing an error -- you need to go to the Attribute Selection tab on all of your GalSync MAs and ensure that msExchRecipientTypeDetails is selected.David Lundell, Get your copy of FIM Best Practices Volume 1 http://blog.ilmbestpractices.com/2010/08/book-is-here-fim-best-practices-volume.html

Seems to be a popular question lately: check http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ilm2/thread/57428480-de36-4b0b-b41d-2eeb5bc92b49 Imho I think the error is because an Exchange 2003 org doesn't know this attribute and most likely the AD schema wasn't extend yet to include this. You can safely remove it from any flow rules/disconnector rules for THIS MA.http://setspn.blogspot.com
