FIM 2010 Live Training
I am looking for the Implementing FIM Class MS-50382, but I would like it to be live, instructor-led classroom training (i.e. no video). Can anyone recommend someplace that does this? I have only found one, and the class offered in January is all virtual. Thanks!

Check the training agenda for your local CTEC (Certified Education center) or Microsoft Partner. Also on Microsoft Learning you can find courses: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/classlocator.aspx Which area are you in? Hi Peter, I am in the Boston area, but am able to travel anywhere in the continental US for this. I tried the class locator link, but can't seem to filter out virtual training. The one that I have been looking at is through Quickstart in Bellevue, WA, but their next class is all virtual. Rob

I'd reach out to OCG - http://www.oxfordcomputergroup.com/course-dates.aspx?r=3TEJ1U1LAI - and find out when they are planning to do an inperson delivery in the US.My Book - Active Directory, 4th Edition My Blog - www.briandesmond.com

You should call and talk to Quickstart but a couple of things about their QSLive training (I've delivered these classes for them in the past so I've got some experience with this): 1. They aren't "virtual". The classes run just as if all of the students were in the classroom with the trainer. They have a regular start and end time each day and the trainer is in a classroom at Quickstart's training centre. 2. As per the explanation on the web site where you are located when you take the class is up to you. You can do it from home, from work, from a remote Quickstart location or in a classroom at Quickstart's facility where the trainer is delivering the class. As I said, having delivered these classes in the past there is a mix of students, some remote, and some local in the class with the trainer. If you prefer the latter then travel to Bellevue and take the training in the classroom with the trainer. You really should call Quickstart for details.
