FIM 2010 CM - Database Resilience
Looking at how we can provide resilience between two data centres. Is it possible (and supported) to use SQL Server technology to replicate the FIM CM database between the two data centres? Cheers, MMS_guru Identity & Metadirectory, Hewlett-Packard UK

I leave this up to the Microsoft Product group for response. Nothing has been formally documented regarding resilience for FIM CM, only for the FIM metadirectory side of the house. Brian

I could really do with a response to this one.. We must make a recommendation to a customer & if FIM CM does not support SQL replication between two sites, we need to consider an alternative. Cheers, MMS_guruIdentity & Metadirectory, Hewlett-Packard UK

Can I expect a response from the FIM PG on this one? Cheers, MMS_guruIdentity & Metadirectory, Hewlett-Packard UK

Found the following here: "For high-availability or disaster recovery scenarios FIM CM supports the utilization of SQL Server running in a cluster environment and the use of SQL Server log shipping functionality." Looks like log-shipping is supported. Cheers, MMS_guruIdentity & Metadirectory, Hewlett-Packard UK
