FEP 2010 SCCM Client Console add-in
Hello, I am sure this has been address but for the life of me I cannot think of a logic way of searching. I need to install the FEP 2010 management client on a few computers and would like to use a task sequence to install the KB and install the FEP 2010 Add-in. My question is it possible to install the client add-in without going through the whole setup? I want to advertise this installation just as I would any other installation. Thanks

Hi, If I understand you correctly, you want to install the FEP client unmanged? That is of course possible just install the FEPclient, but you will no be able to manage it using SCCM, get alerts e.tc. if you want that then you need to run the full setup. I am sorry, I must be horrible at explaining what I after, also could be why I cannot search it online. Please look at the screenshot Is there a way to automate the install for the FEP plugin so it will show in the Config Manager Console, or do I have to run the splash.htm on each computer and click next till it is done

Hi, I have a script for installing the SCCM Console + R3 + the FEP extension, I haven't finished the blog post about it but I will do that now after your question, it will come up shortly. It is a bit tricky as the FEP extensions are both 32 and 64 bit when the console is only 32-bit. I will post it here when it is done. Jorgen, Any chance you have your blog post finished on this subject? I am in no hurry as I only have about 400 clients on FEP 2010.
