F8 Enable Command Support
I have created a TS for build and capture. I have enable the command support for my boot images so that I can troubleshoot the errors that i will encounter along the way. During the early phase of the TS, I was able to use the command support by pressing F8. But when I reached the step "Install deployment tools" of the TS, the F8 does not seem to work anymore. I have encountered an error during this phase but I cannot export/read the log files since the F8 command is not working. Does anybody encounter this kind of issue?

Is that a custom step you added to the task sequence? Is that step running while in Windows PE? F8 will work in Windows PE.Romano Jerez | http://blog-en.netvnext.com/

If you need command prompt in Windows PE, use F8. If OS got successfully installed, use Shift+F10 to get the command prompt. If that doesn't work, try using Shift+F8.
