Extra row under subtotal
Hi All, Am using SSRS 2005, Is it posible to have another field(s) Subtotal Target, Variance under the SUBTOTAL (this subtotal field is the inbuilt subtotal function) row where you can put a conditional expresion that will pick the value of the subtotal and substruct it from the Subtotal Target and display the value in the Variance field for all the individual column. Please see below StoreName Quantity A 10 20 30 B 100 200 40 subtotal 110 220 70 Subtotal Target 500 500 500 (How can this be included in the report) (Variance) 390 280 390(How can this be included in the report) Will be glad if any one could help CRM Manager

Hi, Based on the example you posted, I assume you are using a matrix in the report. If not, please let me know. In order to add 2 rows below the Subtotal row of the matrix, one possible workaround is to add 2 matrices without row groups. Please refer to the following step: Add a matrix below the existing one. Specify the column group of matrix based on the same data field of the column group in the first matrix Specify the target value 500 to the Data cell Repeat step 1 and step2 to add the third matrix. Specify the expression like =500-Sum(Fields!Quantity.Value) to the Data cell Thanks, Tony Chain Tony Chain [MSFT] MSDN Community Support | Feedback to us Get or Request Code Sample from Microsoft Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
