Extra Space issue when hiding a Rectangle in ssrs
HI i have a report with like 10 pages and each page is designed in separte rectangles , the page 2 in my report (rectangle 2) should be hidden based on the cleints , i have a report parameter name and i did set the hidden prop of rectangle 2 to hidden based on that paramter. the hiding part is working pretty well but there is this white space in bettween and my report is looking awkward, is there any way i can get rid of that white space ,please help me out thanks

Hi, As you posted, generally if we hide a rectangle, it will still take the space. In order to get rid of that white space, one workaround is to place these rectangles in a separate table rows and then set Hidden of the static row. For the details steps, please refer to the similar thread at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/a34974ea-af84-4fa6-b445-25f9e490def0 I also noticed the 10 rectangles need to be displayed in 10 pages. However, in this workaround, the page break of the rectangle would be ignored. So, I will still work on it and will let you know once I made some progress.
