Extra Space Between Table Report Items when Exporting to PDF
This is how the Design Layout looks: However, when you export this design to a PDF there is extra space between some of the tables spreading the report into 3 pages when it needs to be on one page. For example, see how there is so much space between table 2 and table 3 on the left hand side of the report and see on the right hand side of the report how much space there is between table 1 and table 2. How do I remove the space? I tried looking in the properties box and tried moving the location but that doesn't seem to work. I also played around with the margins but that didn't see to work either. Is there a property out there that would fix this? lcerni

Hi Icerni, Here's what you need to do: So you have two columns / vertical sections in your report. You need to place each vertical section in a rectangle. i.e., Your Result Snapshots, Attribution, Basis and Key Rate go into one rectangle and the ones on the left side of the report go into their own rectangle. You can see an example in the below screenshot: This should solve your issue. Let me know if you need more info. HTH. Cheers, IceQB Please mark correct answers :)

Wow. Yes, that worked. Thank you so very much. I spent so much time trying to figure that out. I am learning so much about Reporting Services this week. I have one last question. Everything is now on one page but the PDF is still creating a blank second page. How do you remove that?lcerni

I figured it out. Click on the Body and look at the Body Properties. Changed the Width from 8.7175in to 7.5in.lcerni
