External Url for a sharepoint site showing links with internal url
Hi all, I am using http://portal as a internal url that is default zone in AAM and i have https://portal.myweb.com in internet zone for external access.I was able to access the site through internet using https://portal.myweb.com , but i am getting internal url for some tabbed links in the pages.I got stuck at this point.Any good idea to fix this issue?.Thanks in advance. - Gopi Ramaya

Try switching them round in AAM and using the external URL as Default and the internal URL as Intranet. What should happen (I'm unsure about the effect of the external being https - if it was http it would work for certain) is that all internal links default to your external addresses and can therefore be accessed both from the outside and from the inside.FAQ sites: (SP 2010) http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com; (v3) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com and (WSS 2.0) http://wssv2faq.mindsharp.com Complete Book Lists (incl. foreign language) on each site.

Not able ? You can change the settings in AAM to anything you want. Or do you mean that you did the change and it didn't help ? Mike 2010 Books: SPF 2010; SPS 2010; SPD 2010; InfoPath 2010; Workflow etc. 2007 Books: WSS 3.0; MOSS 2007; SPD 2007; InfoPath 2007; PerformancePoint; SSRS; Workflow Both lists also include books in French; German; Spanish with even more languages in the 2007 list.
