Hi, I have recently installed sharepoint 2007 on my pc. I have a backup of the old sharepoint db. I exported all of its records from all the tables in the new content database. However, I am not able to see old sites. The newly installed sharepoint only shows the default sites. The site table of the new content database has multiple entries, however, I am not able to see them in browser. The central admin\content database shows site count as 1. Is there any additional settings or do I need to modify any table in sharepoint config database. Any help would be appreciated.

> How did you export / backup the site I had taken a backup of WSS_Content.mdf file few months back. My old sharepoint database won't attach due to some reason. I exported it using a sql recovery tool. I can see all the records for all the documents\sites\lists etc in the newly exported database. Its just that newly installed sharepoint wont show them. Thanks, Jude
