We have an individual that has created a fairly large survey that they do not want to redo. They had to re-order their questions on the site and when they export the results out to Excel, theresults arein the original order before they were re-ordered.Is there a way to get the export to extract the data in the new order of the survey questions? I have tested this with a small test survey with 5 questions and the same results. The isMOSS 2007and Excel 2007. Thanks to all for your help with this.

Hi, It is a known issue that survey question order set in "Change Question Order" page is not reflected when exporting the survey to spreadsheet. I am sorry there is no hotfix currently. The workaround is to create questions in the final order want to display in spreadsheet. So in case you need to export to Excel and don't want to reorder your columns in Excel, make sure you got the order right when you create your survey questions. I would try saving your completed survey as a template and then re create the survey using the template, try the export again.effectively it is the original now that you have created it from a template and itshould not re arrange the order.to save it as a template click on the survey thensurvey settings and then Save survey as a template underneath permissions and management.Sharepoint Customiser

Hey skillmaster,I do try your suggestion, and it is still showing the original creation order.If there's no change in surveys forsharepoint' s new version, why MS justdon't release this functionality??This is not the only issue the surveys have.
