Exporting Sharepoint survey results
I have a Sharepoint survey which has 48 responses and I am trying to analyse the results. To do this, I would like to export the results to Excel. However, what I am finding is that it is not exporting the responses to any questions that used a rating scale. Can anybody please help with this?

What version of SharePoint are you running? SharePoint Services 2.0 always had an issue with this but was resolved with version 3.0SharePoint Administrator | SharePoint Fan

I am asking a question in the survey that has a question type of rating scale. Therefore, I am asking the respondent to score our service on a rating scale of 1 to 10. Does that make sense?

Hi noelgarry,
Dave is right. If you are using Moss 2007 or WSS 3.0, it will display the rating scale option in the spreadsheet. If you are using Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 or Windows SharePoint Services 2.0, the survey result will not be exported to spreadsheet ifthe answer to a question uses a rating scale.
Microsoft just released a KB article for this issue, please refer to:

Hope this helps.
