Exporting SharePoint 2007 with sharepoint services 3 survey results to excel 2010. Rating Scale is not being exported only first 9 questions are exported rest are omitted. Is there a possible work around i also tried with excel 2007 with same results on another machine. survey contains only 11 questions and with less than 100 responses all responses are being exported problem only with questions i.e. exports only before the rating scale question all next questions including rating scale question are omitted from the result.

The problem is with the export of the rating scale. You could programmatically itterate the survey results using the WSS APIs and simply parse the results into a comma seperated file (.csv) which, when you issue a Process.Start() command passing the .csv file you exported to, to the Start() method, will automatically open in whatever version of Excel you have. I appriciate your reply thanks alot. Do we have any workaround or way without coding as we have many surveys running throughout organization and most survey owners do not know programing even. Any patch or way should be there. IT's a big product how come no simple solution for such problem.
