Export list with form detail to Excel?
Using Sharepoint 2007 and Excel 2007. We have a list set up that shows user hardware request forms. I can create a link to the list in Excel and get the information from the list itself just fine. What I need, however, is the list with all the detail from the forms as well. Not finding anything about this in the books I'm reading and/or on the net. Is this possible, and what do I have to do to get this info?

Hi, Here is a way to export the list from external through Microsoft office access 2007: 1. Create a access database 2. Import the data from your SharePoint site to the new database. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access/HA012303131033.aspx?pid=CH101759701033 3. Export the data from the new database to your excel http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access/HP010950951033.aspx Note: if you check “save import steps”/”save export steps” and “create outlook task” after you finished your import/export, it will be very easy to do there action again in your outlook after you change your excel. Hope it is helpful! Seven

What I'm asking is how to get to that particular data. As I said, I can get the list of links to the data without a problem; what I can't figure out how to do is pull the detail. Let me outline the situation... we have a list which contains various columns. Last name, first name, type of request, Status, etc. I can get this with no problem. "Last name" is a link to the form detail, which contains Employee ID, shipping address, type of hardware requested, value of hardware, notes/miscellaneous info, etc. I need to be able to export both the information currently in the list and the information in the form that's linked in the list. That's what I'm asking how to do.
