Export To Spreadsheet not working externally
Hi, I am able to export a list to a spreadsheet when I am inside my company network (http://intranet.company.com). However, when I open our external site (https://portal.company.com), I receive an the error message (Excel cannot connect to the SharePoint list). I noticed that the iqy file contains references to http://portal instead of https://portal. When I manually change these value, the .iqy file works just fine. In AAM, I have: Internal URL: Zone Public URL for Zone http://intranet.company.com Default http://intranet.company.com http://portal.company.com Intranet http://portal.company.com If I change the http: to https: for the portal entry, the .iqy file downloaded externally contains references to http://intranet instead of https://portal. What do I need to change in IIS or AAM to have the .iqy file use https for the url references? Thanks, DPDP

Hi, Updating the data connection in the downloaded .iqy file works just fine. However, I need to fix it so that users do not have to update the .iqy file. Is there an AAM or IIS setting that I can change to accomplish this? Thanks, DPDP
