I'm an intern working in the IT department for a local company. One of the projects they have me working on is to export all their data from the Unidata system and insert it into a new SQL server (either Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or worst case MSAccess). I've been trying to use SSIS in order to export from Unidata to bring it to a SQL server I have set up locally on my own machine. I have had marginal success. Almost everytime I try, I get a different error message about one thing or another. I'm really hoping somebody has personal experience with this sort of thing, or at least can point me to a step-by-step tutorial. Please help, I've been working on this for the past 4 days, I'm at the ends of my ropes. My superiors say they gave me this task to learn, but I'm starting to think it's hazing. If this isn't the right forum, then just tell me which one could help more and I'll move it there.
