If I create all task sequences in a lab environment and then exporting it before importing it in prod.

1. Will it import everything ? (WinPE, image, packages, drivers)

2. If I have Reader X in prod and then import from lab will it create a second Reader X or will it detect it and then don't load a duplicate? Reader X is identical in lab and prod only the package ids are different?

1. It will import all the objects that were part of the export and yes that can include things like boot images;
2. From memory I thought that it checks on name and scope to find duplicates. When a duplicate is found you can choose to overwrite or to ignore.
