Explorer View logon box issue in Moss 2007
I have done a good deal of searching so far but have not been able to find the answer so thought I would throw this out. Here is what happens:- Select Explorer Viewunder views in a document library- Logon box pops up with the message in the background saying "Please wait while explorer view is loading. IfExplorer view does not appear then your browser may not support it.- At the Logon I put in domain\user and password, click ok,logon box back up like it's a wrong password, same issue if I skip the domain\ in front.- If I click cancel the logon box goes away and the explorer view comes up normal and appears to function ok.What I have tried:- have tried setting as a trusted site as one result mentioned, Same result- set it up as a local intranet site which another result mentioned, same result- verified that it was set to pass through authentication (again when I manually type in my domain\user and pass it fails, I am a domain and sharepoint farm admin)- I am logged in on a domain computer with my normal AD credentials. - Integrated windows authentication is checked under the website properties in IISThis happens with a Moss 2007 farm set up on windows 2003 accessing from windows xp + ie 7. Other client combinations (xp and ie 6 for example) yield the same result. Any Ideas? Thanks!

Is it possible that you have item level permissioning set on one of the items for which the user may not have permission to?

Is it possible that you have item level permissioning set on one of the items for which the user may not have permission to? i don't think so since this user has Full Control on the site and document library.
