Explorer View - Page Cannot be displayed
Hello, I'm having an issue with Explorer view on several servers in our organization. I have a 5 server Windows 2008 Terminal Server Farm setup and Explorer View in SharePoint 2007 only works on 3 of them. The other 2 generate a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error when trying to switch to explorer view. I've tried many other things in other posts similar to this issue but none of them have worked. These include: 1. Installing the software update for Web Folders (KB907306) 2. Restarting the Web Client Service 3. Repair Installation of Office 2007 (Picture Viewer also doesn't open on these 2 servers when trying to do the "Multiple Picture" upload in a picture library) I'm running IE 7 on these servers with all the latest hotfixes and patches. Any other advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

sometime If the certificate is not issued by a trusted root CA, this error message appears. So you have to import your server's certificate into your trusted root CA store. or did you try this one "add to the Intranet zone not the Trusted Zone" or did you try this one?http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956196 let us know whats the result. thanks -wsSharePoint administrator, MCTS,MCITP

Yes I've tried those things and the problem still exists.

I finally found the solution to my problem and I hope it can help others as it was NOT easy to find. It has to do with adding a registry key for the WebClient software to mark your intranet web application as "safe". This had to be done on every terminal server having the problem. Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters" and add a multi-string key called "AuthForwardServerList" and give it a value of your web application's URL "http://intranetsite.com".
