Here is the scenario, please advise.

Existing DP name: ABC

New server Name : XYZ (will be replacing ABC)

New server will take on the same hostname as the server it is replacing. 

Here is what I thought needs to be done,

• Take the report of existing packages on ABC.
• Decommission ABC from SCCM by using DP utility(http://www.myitforum.com/articles/42/view.asp?id=8904 )
• Rename the new server from XYZ to ABC
• Configure the new server as site system and add the DP role.
• Then use the copy package wizard to send the packages to new DP.

Correct me if I am wrong in any of the steps.
