Exclude Permission for a User
SSRS 2008 R2 BIDS
I have deployed a report that I want almost all users (about 100) to be able to run but I don't want about 8 users to be able to run it. Is there any way to set the security so that it excludes a group? That way I can give the domain users group permission
to view but explicitly deny the users I don't want. I don't know of any groups that currently contain all users but the 8 and would like to avoid creating a new group just for this.
Thank you!

Separate out the users to whom you dont want to give access from the current group. Create a new role and map the 8 users to that role and give them permissions to only those reports which are relevant to them.

Using Phaneendra's sugestions requires that I reorganize my groups and add an additional group to some of my security settings. This is what I am trying to avoid.
I have solved my current problem using his general solution however it was not the method I wanted to use.
Thank you,

Hi Scott_Hanebutt,
Thanks for the question and other partners’ replies. To avoid add one extra group, how about this work-around: display all the report contents
in one Rectangle control, control this Rectangle’s Visibility by checking if the current login user belongs to the eight ones.
Referencing expression:
=Iif(Instr("Account1,Account2",User!UserID),true,false)
Thanks,
