Exclude DB - MAPI Monitoring (Exchange Management Pack)

Hi All:

Hoping someone can chime in and possibly let me know what I might be missing

I have exchange 2010 management pack installed (amongst others of course) and having an issue with the MSExchange Monitoring MAPI connectivity.  It is spitting out a valid error, that a DB is dismounted.  However this is by design on our end.  I want to override the monitor with an exclude with a overwrite value, I saw in this thread.

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/systemcenter/en-US/a8a43731-d6b8-48d7-9b40-b52dc36fa55f/scom-2012-monitoring-too-many-databases

However when I edit the rule, I see the (attached) information.  I can override it - but it only gives me true or false.  Also I see no exclude portion as well to list the series of DB or data I want to exclude.

Can someone please let me know what steps I need to exclude a series of DBs from this particular monitor.  Thank you in advance!

Default monitors in Exc 2010 MP monitors mapi as service and does not provide the granularity  to disable monitors per DB.

In this scenario I always use  Russ Slaten's  extension MP which provides

  • DB mount check
  • DB Backup Checks   on individual DBs.

Also Exc 2013 version can be found in
