Exchange Server 2010 Recovery

I have a server running Exchange 2010 on 2008 R2 as a Domain Controller that I recently ran windows updates on (4 months worth) and afterword it would no longer boot.  It would get to the point were you could see the cursor and then just restart.  I tried everything I could think of but I could not get it to work.  Now I have reinstalled 2008 R2 on that server and I am trying to recover Exchange 2010 and Active Directory.  The databases for both of these were installed on a separate SSD drive on the server.  Is there is some way to recover them?

Unfortunately I do not have a backup that will help at all.  The portable USB drive I used is also DOA.

The active directory information is fairly small and I wouldn't mind recreating it, however the exchange database is critical.

I can't just copy over the old exchange data files from the backup I made of the server after it wouldn't boot can I?  Is there any way to recover any data from the files on the SSD?  Can any of the mailbox data be extracted from the old exchange database file?

Any help at all would be appreciated.

If you have AD / system state backup then you still have some chance but I guess without it, you are in trouble...

If nothing works then I would say, third party software to recover data from the edb file is the last resort...

hiii,

If you are not able to recover the data from edb file using manual method or your data may corrupted. Then to have your crucial data you must go for online available software's that will help you in recovering data easily from edb file (both public and private). I found edb converter as a most appropriate tool for recovering data from  edb file as it supports conversion from corrupted edb file.
