Hello.
We have an Exchange 2010 box and an Exchange 2003 on separate sites under 1 single domain.
On the Exchange 2010 box I had to move mailboxes onto a new database due to lack of space on drive. I then deleted
the old database as it was full of leavers data.
Since then on the Exchange 2003 box on a separate site the mailbox level backup has been failing? When I go into
the selection list for the backup job it shows the Exchange 2010 users and not the Exchange 2003 users??
Have I messed something up when deleting the original database that ran out of space on the virtual drive that
we couldn't extend.

Exchange Backup Mailbox Level issue

Thank you for your question.
Whats error you get when you backup mailbox? I suggest we could post error to ibsexc@microsoft.com for our troubleshooting.
We could run the command :Get-Mailbox <mailboxname> | FL , mailboxname is mailbox which was moved. Then we could check where is mailbox location and if it was moved to Exchange 2010, if the database was deleted, we could recover it from backup. If the mailbox is located at the correct database on Exchange 2010, we could see the error information for troubleshooting.
