I have a "DBCopyFailed" "Continuous replication for database 'DAG01 DB08\Exch02' is in a Failed state" error on my Exchange 2013 server. SCOM Exchange monitoring hasn't detected anything for this error.
This brought up the question: Is the management pack set up right, or is this error just not covered? I started to notice that some items have the "not monitored" state, for example:
In monitoring, under "Server Components" > "Mailbox Database Copy", the databases are discovered and listed, but all show as "not monitored"
What is normal for this management pack? In the health explorer, Configuration, Security, and Performance categories are not monitored, while "Availability" and "Exchange 2013 Server Health Sets" are monitored.
The install for this MP looks very straight forward. All rules, monitors, discoveries appear to be on by default. Agent proxy is verified on for all Exchange Servers. Also tried uninstall and reinstall of the Exchange MP - no change.
Thank you for any details on what should be monitored by default, and any info on why the above error is not caught by SCOM.
