Exchange 2007 to 2013 Cross Forest Migration

I want to do Migration at my client from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013.

Organization has two Business Units one at Pakistan and other in Dubai.

Both have their Own Forests Company.AE and CompanyPak.Com.

Company.AE has their own hosted Exchange which has now been updgraded to Exchange 2013 (Company.AE will become the One Site for Exchange System). Company.AE have their own AD and all the AD/Exchange System hosted at their sites.

CompanyPak.Com has no hosted Exchange. CompanyPak.Com has been Using Exchange 2007 Site System which were deployed by Company.AE Team and they have limited right just to create users in Company.AE Exchange System (Here in Pakistan DIB.AE hosted Domain Controllers for Company.AE and Exchange MBX, HUB, CAS and EDGE.

All the Users which are required to use Local Resources needs to have account in Local Active Directory CompanyPak.Com. Whereas in order to use email system their ID needs to be created in Company.AE Active Directory Domain with hosted Exchange Account on Exchange 2007 servers at CompanyPak Site.

Now CompanyPak.com wants to deploy Exchange 2013 and separate their Exchange Organization. Means AD has already in-place they need to deploy Exchange in their organization but the challenge is they want to available all their old emails to new system. for this reason migration should be done from old system to new system.

Also after migration both the different Exchange Organization will be required to share their GALs in order to find and email other exchange forest users.

Can Someone share any good Article, Blog or Document which could help in it or somebody could explain if they ever did it or know the whole process.

Thanks in Ad

You have a rather complicated situation that deserves a design by an experienced consultant.  I really don't think you're going to find a step-by-step guide that covers your precise requirements.

Good luck!
