Hello all, i have an excel file which has Japanese characters. my OS is Windows XP.SQL server 2008 R2, enterprise edition when i create an excel source in the SSIS, these characters are not getting recognized. i am not able to convert this excel to .csv file also, as the japanese characters are not getting saved in .csv. Please help!

can you import this excel to sql server 2008 if yes then you can convert japanese to english by sql server 2008 http://www.sqlshare.com/player.aspx?vid=869 then export this table to excel ThanksRamesh Rathod
