Excel Connection Issues: AcquireConnection Error 0xC02022009
Hello: First, let me start that this used to work, not deployed, locally used (dev box). I have a new machine and set up my environment. When I received my new machine I noticed none of my VS2008 SSIS projects worked (actually I couldn't even load the dtsx). I noticed SQL 2008 R2 was installed and this was the only thing different that I could determine. I unistalled R2 and installed SQL 2008 Standard. This corrected the SSIS projects I wanted to use at the time. Now I want to use my Excel loading projects and I run into this error. I've read several answered post regarding this error but what the recommended solutions are not working. I tried changing the DelayValidation and ProtectionLevel settigs to no avail. I deleted the Excel Connection Manager and Excel Source objects but I can't recreate them without erroring. Any help will be much appreciated. Meanwhile, I'm going to create a new project and hope that works but I'd like to know what the glitch is. Thanks!-Will
