Event ID 2115 : (Microsoft.SystemCenter.CollectDis coveryData)
Hi All, I am very frequently getting the Event ID 2115 on my SCOM instance. ****************** A Bind Data Source in Management Group <ABCDEFGHIJ> has posted items to the workflow, but has not received a response in 274440 seconds. This indicates a performance or functional problem with the workflow. Workflow Id : Microsoft.SystemCenter.CollectDiscoveryData Instance : Management server. Instance Id : GUID ****************** Since i am not able to find much details for this particular workflow ID :CollectDiscoveryData Can somebody please help me out in getting rid of these. I referred that article but it speaks mostly about "CollectEventData". i am getting event 2115 every minute for "CollectDiscoveryData". Thanks & regards, Sumit Agrawal

Config churn seems to be a large cause of this, especially if you have the Exchange 2010 MP. Thanks Blake for reply but i dont have any Exchange 2010 MP in my SCOM instance. Also the Config churn looks OK as i dont get frequent 20125 event. When i used the SQL query for "Top Noisy Rules in the last 24 hours", I got the result as "Microsoft.SystemCenter.UserActionManager". I am not much aware of what to do with this now, can someone help please. Thanks & regards, Sumit Agrawal
