Error with report parameter
Hi all I have an issue regarding ssrs report. I have a report which is deployed in the server and was working fine till now, but all of a sudden i received a complain from the user that he is getting the following error in generating the report Error during processing of ‘toDate’ report parameter. (rsReportParameterProcessingError) ut this problem goes more weird when i am still able to access the report without any error from my system!!. Also when i tried opening the report from user's PC with my login (running web browser with RUN AS option with my login) i get the same error as above. I dont understand this unusual behaviour of ssrs. I presume it is not an error related to access. Does it have to do something with the browser settings or anything else local to the system? Please provide me the solution if anyone have come accross this kind of issue. Thanks Gaurav

Did you check the date time settings of the users system ? Just thinking , it would have caused because this as the date format passed to the reporting server is mismatching with the exepected format. Can you try this and let us know ?

Are you using the parameter in any other expressions which may return invalid data format ? My hunch is the date is getting passed as invalid format like "01/13/2011" in this if it is "dd/mm/yyyy" this is will fail. Can you check in this grounds ? By the way what is format in which the datepicker date is getting displayed is it inline with your report server date settings format ?

This parameter is being used only once in report in WHERE clause as "SELECT ......... WHERE d.deliverydate between @fromdate and @todate" d.deliverydate in database is also in the same format Also in report the default values is given as (in Non-queried) "=cdate(left(dateadd("d",1,now()),10))" the date format which it is displaying is yyyy-mm-dd My concern is this report was working fine till now with the same code, all of a sudden it started giving error today ;(, and moreover only in some paticular user's browser (its working perfectely fine with me, when i access the report server from my pc)
