Error when running a report via SQL reporting services
Hi The following error is displayed when we run a report via SQL Reporting Services. An error occurred during client rendering. An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Cannot create a connection to data source 'AutoGen__5C6358F2_4BB6_4a1b_A16E_8D96795D8602_'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection) For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors The reporting server is a Windows Server 2008 R2 with SQL 2008 Reporting Services installed. The SCCM database is on a remote server, which is Windows 2003 running SQL 2005. We have set the data source authentication to use Windows integrated security. Is this a problem with double hop authentication? Would registering a SPN resolve the issue? Thanks in advance for any help.

Please try to take following steps to troubleshoot this issue. 1. Create a domain user group. 2. Copy the user going to execute reports to that group. 3. Add an "SQL login" to the group created in step 1. 4. Add the role membership db_datareader to that group for the SCCM (Reports) DB.
