Error when Modify view on list

Hi,

I got "Error, Cannot complete this action. Please try again." when I saved on modify view on a list. Although I received this error, the change was actually successfully applied.

When I look at the SP log, I notice I have this error a lot:

w3wp.exe(0X1428)   0x086C   SharePoint Foundation   General   adyrv     High   Cannot find site lookup info for request Uri http://______ ( the 2nd application server name )

I have two WFE, two APPS and two mirrored SQL ( with one witness ) in my SP 2013 farm.

Any idea will be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Edwin

Turns out I de-activate the Minimal Download Strategy feature and I didn't get the error any more.

Any idea why?

I had the same issue and deactivating the Minimal Download Strategy feature solved my problem also. We had just migrated the content from 2007 to 2013 using a migration tool. Not sure if that had something to do with it. I am also not sure how important this feature is.

thanks! how did you find that out? I would have never guessed it was that feature!

Cause
This issue occurs because HTTP compression is not enabled in TMG or the third-party load balancer.
