Error trying to Deploy Win7 using Multicast (0x80070002) and HRESULT=8004080b
Hi, I am using SCCM 2008 SP2 R3 and have several Multicast servers which are deploying successfully using this Windows 7 image. I have deployed another multicast image from this server already, and this image erroring below I have deployed successfully from other MC Servers. The image in 5.2 Gb but running this version of SCCM size isn't an issue any more. I have deleted it and recopied it to the MC server. Has anyone seen this error before (from smsts.log from client). I have googled it but not found much Found multicast service point 'SCCMServer.domain.local' to serve request. Package failed to download from Multicast enabled DP. Error 2. Will try another DP. The operating system reported error 2: The system cannot find the file specified. It will then revert to unicast and deploy the image. I have turned IGMP on on our HP Procurve switch and added IP helpers to the SCCM server. Thanks
