Hi, Thanks to share your post. From the issue that you encountered, as is referenced in the net, I suggest you do as followed: Open IE8 32-bit to this page: http://www.fiddlertool.com/ua.aspx. Highlight/select all of the red text at the top of the page and copy it to your clipboard. (Also scroll down to see if an issue has been detected and a possible resolution offered.) Open a reply to this post & paste the contents of your clipboard into your reply. And also the following could help you: 1. Does the behavior persist if you start IE8 32-bit in No Add-ons mode? ->Start | (All) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet Explorer (No add-ons). Troubleshooting and Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) Mode [Applies to IE7 & IE8 in all OSS] http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/07/25/678113.aspx 2. Does the behavior persist if you Reset IE Advanced settings (RIES)? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Reset-Internet-Explorer-settings 3. What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewalls (if any)? These may be also the reasons of the page error. If these still don’t work, you may resort to the followed links: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/thread/e312e580-1cbc-496b-8c6b-b69b8535a7bb http://www.zytrax.com/tech/web/msie-history.html. Hope this could help! Leo

Try running the MS Office Diagnostics tool. I just fixed an issue with SharePoint by running this. I was getting an error within init.js as well.

Hi, Thanks alot Leo for your help. Here is the red highlight message: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; InfoPath.3; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; MS-RTC EA 2) 1. When I browsed to the WSS sites from the no add on browser, I didn't see the error on page message and could browse easily and work with 'Explorer view'. 2. The reset didn't solve the issue. 3. We use Symantec Endpoint security bundle.
