On my environment I have a primary site and 2 secondary sites. I am using SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU1 on all 3 servers and I am able to deploy Windows 7 x86 and x64. On my task sequences I have a step to Setup Windows and ConfigMgr, where I specify the CU1 msp patch for SCCM client and the DNSSUFFIX for the domain, and another step for Prepare Configuration Manager Client. After the OS is deployed, on the SCCM Console clients are shown as "No" and I have to manually assign a site on Control Panel applet. When I do that, a new computer object is create on the SCCM Console and I can see an object with Client as Yes and another one with Client as No.

How can I set the site automatically on OSD?

You mean that you use the Prepare ConfigMgr Client for Capture step during a normal OS deployment? If so, you shouldn't, because that step removes all the information of the client. That step is only useful during the capture of an image.

Why? That's used for build and capture only and basically prepares the client for imaging.

Hi! I have created automatically a Task Sequence and I have deleted all items for Capture and Buid, except that one.

I deleted and everything seems ok right now! Thank you.

Also note that you should no longer need to add CUs using the PATCH property starting with CU1. Installing CU1 on the site server updates the client install files (and should also update the package on the DPS) obviating the need to do anything extra.
