Error migrating user profiles
Hi,
I hope someone can help me sort this one out here...I'm having 'Error migrating user profile' when try to migrate LDAPmember to Windows account after successfully importing the site to a new farm.
Here is the command I'm using:
Stsadm –o migrateuser –oldlogin
ldapmember:fname.lname@domain.com
–newlogin domain\ab012345
–ignoresidhistory
ULS log file error I'm getting:
The user account I'm using to is
- part of the Farm admin group
- has full access to the the content and admin db
- local admin on the CA server
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advanced!

It appears the ID you're using to execute the STSADM command may not have full permissions to the environment. I would ensure that your executing account has all the required permissions.I trust that answers your question...
Thanks

Any thoughts anyone? It gonna be painful redoing the permissions manually :(
