I can't really help you with this as 1603 is to generic (C:\Windows\System32>net helpmsg 1603 >> Fatal error during installation.). there's probably a more detailed log of the installation which needs to be looked at. Rob Korving http://jama00.wordpress.com/

Hi, Please deselect the OpsMgr Data Warehouse as the guide mentioned and try to install again. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Hi Toni, I don't think the SQL version will make a difference. It is the procedure used for the install that is important. Can u pls detail the steps and checks you made to install SQL, and then OpsMgr and then OpsMgr Reporting? Then we can troubleshoot more effectively. Thx, John Bradshaw

Hi Toni Is this with server 2008 r2? If it is make sure that you run the install from an elevated cmd prompt The SDK user has to be a local admin on the sever make sure you have the right password for the action and SDK account let me know how you are getting on paul Paul Keely

Hi John, Many Thanks for your help. I check the steps of your link and i have the question please. In the wizard i select in the option custom setup i select the components: - Data Warehouse and Reporting Server. Now I am install SQL Server 2008 Enterprise 64 bits with sp1 with Reporting Services and I check the access to http://localhost/reports and it is working :>. Should you select only for the installation of role Reporting only the option Reporting Server and not select data warehouse? is it recommend ? Thanks. toni
