Error in restore ?
Hi allI made a successfaul backup to a site called "sharepoint-48717" when I try to restore that site and choose new configurations (new web ur: sharepoint 48720l and new databse:DB1) the restore fails and the following error appears:Object SharePoint - 48720 (previous name: SharePoint - 48717) failed in event OnRestore. For more information, see the error log located in the backup directory. SPUpdatedConcurrencyException: An update conflict has occurred, and you must re-try this action. The object SPWebApplication Name=SharePoint - 48720 Parent=SPWebService is being updated by NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE, in the OWSTIMER process, on machine MINASAMY. View the tracing log for more information about the conflict.when I look at sprestore.log file i found the following:An update conflict has occurred, and you must re-try this action. Hi, It seems that the Cache is causing the issue. Try the following KB on all the servers. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939308 Deleting the XML files do not harm but make sure cache.ini is not deleted. Pleaselet us know the outcome.I LOVE MS.....
