Hi,

I m getting error during installation of SQL Server 2012 on my Win 7 32 bit laptop. I have pre-requisite Microsoft  service pack 1 and .net frameworks 1.1 and 4 too.  the error encountered during installation is mentioned as below:

error 1053 the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion windows 7

Ignoring this error would install first part of SQL Server on my system but  with errors

Database engine services : failed
SQL Server Replication : failed.

Can anyone please help me here or is there any software pre requisite /mandatory
